Like the times I would race back from a little league game and plop down at the piano to play, still wearing my game gear.

Sometimes the stories that stay with us aren't the biggest moments, they're the ones that changed us in surprising or subtle ways. 

Here’s one for me...  cleaning out my parents’ house before they move, I found a collection I’d forgotten about - hundreds and hundreds of business cards!  All neatly organized and categorized.  I remember being a 9 year old walking up to all the tables at one of my dad’s business conventions asking the surprised attendants “may I please have your business card?”

Think about a recent experience that reminded or taught you something about yourself.

I’ve been experimenting with AI tools for productivity and creativity lately. When it comes to story and storytelling, though, I’ve often found the experience a little hollow. The writing is clean, precise, and often impressive, but it can lack soul.

So I created a tool that doesn’t write for me so much as write with me.

It asks questions, probes stories, and challenges ideas so I can develop material in a way that feels a lot like being on stage improvising a scene and figuring it out one line at a time. One moment at a time.

It’s still in a rough, early state, but I think it’s ready to be tried if you’re curious and willing.

Here’s what’s happening around and interesting to me:  back to school stories!  I have 2 kids going back to school... far far away!  (one in Oregon (go Ducks!)) and one in Florence (Mangia!)
